On  hot July day in 2006, the Grand Forks AFB hosted the USAF Thunderbirds at it's open house.  Over 40,000 visitors coming form 5 states and Canada enjoyed a great day of displays, acrobatics and events.
One of the ND-MVCA members is assigned to GFAFB and arranged for us to display 10 MV's.

How do you get over 10 MV's to a show?  Here are some of our examples, North Dakota, wide open spaces sometimes make it hard to drive to a show so we tow.  The triaxle has Lyles M-38's and a early 416 trailer, Ken has modified his trailer to except 2 of his early 151's.  Dennis's Halftrack fits nicely with a couple early Swedish ammo trailers to even off the load.

ND-MVCA made a weekend of it with 6 members camping out in Niagara ND.  After a long day we relaxed around a fire to plan the next event.  It was especially nice to display amongst all the aircraft.  We had a great time just talking to all the visitors.
