Meeting R-Lee at the MVPA convention in Dayton
My Lt, he was a great help for both the Duluth and Dayton MVPA conventions. We deployed
twice together, he's good stuff and is in Korea now.

I really never wanted a Jeep, but after seeing my buddies 151, my Wife and I decided to restore one.
We were able to find a good rolling, uncut, chassis with most its parts. The Jeep is a 1971 M-151A-2 with a RT 524 radio
and soon MB-2.
Our club can be dangerous, during one parade I told our President Ken I had a flag for his
antenna, he retorted that antennas are for radios and not flags. OK, while in Iola WI, at its MV show, I asked Ken
if he would help me get an antenna, because I didn't know what parts I needed. Well while looking at one of the
vendors, Ken says be sure to get this base cause the tuner works, I'm thinking what for, its just a flag mount.
Well after getting all the correct parts , he steers me to a radio guy.. and before I realize it I have 2 antennas and an
RT-524 radio. Also I thought machine guns looked cheesy, guess what I have for this summer, an MB-2 and mount.
Now I can play "Rat Patrol"
Boys and Toys.. good thing I live in ND as parking isn't an issue there
